Thank you Travis...you were amazing and the truck is running great! We were on vacation and on our way to Mesa, Az. and truck pulling a 36' 5th wheel broke down going up the grade to Simi Valley. We were able to get to the entrance to Costco off the freeway and the truck died on the entrance!! Between a highway patrolman, City police, Dave's Towing to JBS Auto we were treated the best and Travis got us back on the road pulling our 5th Wheel within a few hours. I have a 2002 F350 diesel. I have had a slow oil leak in it for almost 5 years. I took it to my local diesel mechanic several times, and thousands of dollars later but still, no solving the mysterious leak. Also, my AC was another ongoing problem for about five years. Finally, frustrated and about to sell the truck, I took it to Travis at at JBS. I am so glad that I did. He fixed the oil leak, and my AC is working like brand new. DODGE VIPER. Trying to do Viper on a budget is almost impossible! If you go to Dodge, you have to go where a "Viper qualified" mechanic is and not all dealerships have one. Went to JBS and asked if they would like to have a go at it. Travis said he'd never worked on one before, but it's just nuts and bolts like any other car. Needed plug wires and coils changed. Unfortunately the intake has to come off as the coils are under it. Travis had a little trouble waiting on parts, but got it bangin' on all 10 again. Price??? I know it's at least half of what Dodge would have charged after they apply the "Viper Tax". Only problem at JBS is they are super busy and I can see why. Thanks-Travis!!

This is the best shop to get your car repaired at!

I was referred to Travis at JBS by a friend who had his starter replaced on his Tundra. I took my Sequoia in for an oil change to a shop in Thousand Oaks. Since my vehicle has over 200K miles I asked them to check for any leaks. They informed me that my main seal and intake manifold were leaking. I hadn't noticed any significant leaks on the ground so I found this interesting. The repairs were going to cost close to $1000. I decided it wasn't an emergency and to get another opinion. Before taking my car to Travis I steam cleaned the engine and drove the vehicle for a couple weeks so he would be able to see more easily if there was leak. Come to find out Travis did not find any significant leaks considering the mileage on the car. There is some seepage, but no leaks. This was great news as I was heading up north to Big Sur. He checked my brakes as well which were good too. Needless to say I will be bringing my cars as well as friends and family to Travis from now on. By the way, when I rented a car from Hertz I got the shop rate and the lady at the counter said JBS...oh yeah everyone in Simi knows them. They are the place to go to get your car repaired honestly!
